The Hermitage Road Cellars at Hunter Resort is the largest and the most advanced in Hunter Valley that produces around 6 million liters of wine.
The McWilliams Mount Pleasant Estate is regarded as one of the great winemakers in Australia, with a great tasting room, bar and lounge that is overlooking the vineyards. The Elizabeth?s caf? serves meals during the day.
The Pepper Tree Wines is one of the most awarded small wineries with the cellar door that adjoins the winery and the beautiful grounds and gardens of Pepper Tree.
The Pokolbin Estate is one of the smallest old wineries in the Hunter with a tasting room at the 114 years old sandstone cottage. And one of the producers of handmade boutique wines that are all grown in here relaxing and spectacular mountain views that also has a gift galley and family history museum that you can roam around.
The Rothbury Estate is a new yet best known winery in Hunter that has its wines exported already to other regions. It has tasting rooms that is very tastefully presented.
The Tyrell?s Vineyards is the oldest and most popular wineries which has been owned and have been run for 144 years. Its tasting rooms are lined with 100 year old wine vats.
